About Benjamin

Benjamin Ploppa is Head of Hotels Germany at Christie & Co since January 2020. He is responsible for the development and expansion of the company in Germany and the DACH region.

Before joining Christie & Co, he was in charge for the development and implementation of the hotel investment strategy at BNP Paribas REIM. He was able to build on his experience as Head of Hotel Acquisitions & Sales at Deka Immobilien GmbH.

In his role at Christie & Co he returns to his professional roots. After successfully completing his studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, he worked as a Senior Consultant at PKF hotel experts and then as Senior Manager at Deloitte, where he established and expanded the Tourism & Hospitality Services industry line in Germany. As Asset and Investment Manager at Accor Hospitality Germany, he also saw the operator perspective and was responsible for the implementation of the asset light strategy.
