Like many cities in Greater Paris, the landscape of cities such as Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine) and Pantin (Seine-Saint-Denis) is changing. Outdated buildings are being transformed to adapt to new habits and to preserve the environment, based on a decarbonized approach. In these fast-changing cities, the Galia Group has acquired two buildings and is designing two new hotels for the Ennismore Group’s TRIBE brand, to be delivered in 2024.

‘We pay particular attention to our buildings’ surroundings when defining our real estate projects. These two new urban living spaces, with their carefully designed architecture and sustainable construction, will contribute to the dynamism of Pantin and Clichy’ Brice Errera, Chairman and CEO the Galia group.

The development of these two hotels is funded by Banque Populaire Rives de Paris and the Real Estate Markets Department teams.

Two new hybrid living spaces in Pantin and Clichy
Since it was launched in 2017, the TRIBE brand has been providing a redesigned hotel experience that is both sophisticated and urban, offering a stylish and affordable experience in its innovative living spaces halfway between work and leisure. Located in the heart of Pantin and Clichy, both Galia Group projects perfectly meet the expectations of a new generation of traveler’s in search of a relaxed and eco-friendly living environment.

TRIBE Clichy: a green and central hotel Located boulevard Jean Jaurès, near Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Church and Clichy-la-Garenne City Hall, the Galia Group has called on Neufville-Gayet Architects to design a 3,400m2 4-star hotel with 120 rooms. It includes an 80-seat restaurant with a view over the city, serving both hotel guests and local residents.

The project consists in demolishing an old garage and an outdated residential building, which had no particular cultural interest in terms of architecture, structure and materials. The architects Neufville-Gayet are committed to a sustainable construction in order to create a contemporary setting for the building. The hotel is made of load bearing stone and wood joinery, with a 200m2 interior patio with plants. The Breeam Very Good certified building is also part of the Accor Planet 21 charter, a platform dedicated to sharing knowledge on sustainable development in the hotel industry. The interior design was entrusted to the Ciguë studio, which focused on the use of raw materials such as concrete and fermacell.

TRIBE Pantin: a symbolic transformation
In Pantin, this urban parking lot built at the end of the 1950s has been transformed into a 4-star hotel with 131 rooms, also part of Ennismore’s TRIBE brand, with a TRIBE Table restaurant. This dynamic city in the Île-de-France region is undergoing a complete transformation and change of use.

Relying on the 4-level existing structure, architects Vincent Parreira and Antonio Virga remodeled the space to develop a 4,400 m2 welcoming, urban and green space. After demolishing and restructuring part of the building to create an open-air garden, they conceived green roofs.

Perfectly integrated into its environment, in the immediate proximity of Canal de l’Ourcq and Pantin City Hall, the hotel reflects the revival of the neighborhood. The interior architecture of both the social hub and the rooms, designed by Double A Design Ltd, also reflects the new face of the city and creates a bond between the past and modern times. The layouts are designed to be light and colorful, and the choice of materials matches the existing ones, which are left visible in some places to recall the history of the building.
