IHG Hotels & Resorts open the doors to Japan’s first voco Hotel – the voco Osaka Central
voco Osaka Central is IHG’s 75th voco signing globally since it launched in 2018.
Opened in partnership with UD Hospitality Management, the hotel marks a new era of ‘reliably different’ accommodation in Japan, bringing to life voco Hotels’ charming personality, warm hosted service and step-by-step approach to sustainability.
Conveniently located in Kyomachibori, Osaka, just a few minutes’ walk from Yodoyabashi, Honmachi and Higobashi stations, the hotel is surrounded by unique shops and the lush greenery of Utsubo Park.
The hotel is full of unique touches honouring the original building site, including the reuse of original timbers for a soaring lobby. Guests will indulge in the ‘voco life’ with Lokal House (an incredible open-kitchen grill!) and café and bar, while 191 guestrooms emulate voco’s ‘me time’ with cosy amenities and beautiful Japanese architecture.

voco Osaka Central will be IHG Hotels & Resorts’ sixth hotel in Osaka, complementing InterContinental Osaka, ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka, Holiday Inn & Suites Shin Osaka, Holiday Inn Osaka Namba and Holiday Inn Express Osaka City Centre Midosuji, as well as ANA Crowne Plaza hotels in nearby Kobe and Kyoto.
