Location
The Bay View Inn is in a stunning and enviable position overlooking Widemouth Bay, three miles south of the town of Bude, a 30 minute drive from one of Cornwall’s major tourist destinations, Tintagel Castle closely associated with King Arthur and within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park.
Internal
Entrance to the building from the main car park has a disabled ramp, plus step access either side of the covered entrance. The recent addition of the coffee lounge bar, which incorporates a viewing gallery/retail space for customers to admire and purchase the work of local South-West artists on display.
There are views towards the Bay from the coffee lounge which features a relaxed seating area with a mix of chairs, tables, armchairs and sofas for about 35 persons, and an open plan Offshore Arts Restaurant (Gallery and Cultural hub) adjacent to another dining area named Driftwood. The two connected spaces have table seating for roughly 100 people, and glass doors open into the terrace outside.
The Surf Bar and Beach Hut seat between 30 – 50 persons plus standing, has its own separate outside customer entrance from the front via the elevated terrace.
