Location of the property
With a population of over 100,000, Scarborough is the largest town on the Yorkshire Coast and is famed for being one of the UK’s busiest seaside resorts. The New Southlands is located in “South Bay” which is the more desirable part of the town and home to most of the largest and biggest hotels in Scarborough. Boasting many tourist attractions including Alpamare, the Rotunda Museum, The Spa and Europe’s largest open air theatre, Scarborough also boasts two fabulous beaches and a historic castle perched high on the promontory which bisects both bays. It is also an ideal base from which to explore the North York Moors National Park and the wonderful coastline, home to a variety of towns including Sandsend, Robin Hoods Bay and the world famous and historic Whitby with its naval and literary heritage. The city of York is around 40 miles to the south west and is linked by the A64.
