About this property

30 James Street was built for Ismay, Imrie and Company which later became the White Star Line, best known for owning and operating the infamous Titanic passenger liner. The Grade II* Listed property was designed and built by the renowned British architect Richard Norman Shaw in collaboration with J. Francis Doyle. 30 James Street, also known as Albion House, acted as the headquarters for White Star Line until their merger with Cunard Line in 1934.
