This hotel was acquired as part of a portfolio in 2019 by New Zealand Hotel Holdings, a newly established NZ$300m joint venture partnership between the $43b New Zealand Super Fund and the Russell & Lockwood Group of Companies. The other hotels included the Adina Apartment Hotel Britomart Auckland & Breakfree on Cashel Christchurch.
The Four Points by Sheraton Auckland comprises a recently completed 255 room 4.5 rated hotel which was a conversion & expansion of a former office building. The hotel included a roof top bar, restaurant, conferencing facilities and basement parking. The hotel is subject to a long-term management agreement with Marriott with VP not available on sale. The hotel was still in a trade-up phase at the date of sale.
